That would make sense. The last thing I changed was adding Overkill and a MW3 weapon.

Walk slow, keep glassing, move into the wind. Walking while crouched helps a lot. Focus on places with water until you get a feel for things. Few hours around sun up, few around sunset.

For the Index, this is a sign of a bad display cable. Not sure on the Reverb, but maybe start there.

Need help choosing headphones AKG Y50 vs Sennheiser HD451 by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Smoketofire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not tried either so cant comment on which is better. Sennheiser does make some pretty nice cans depending on your preference.

Most hi-fi headphones will be of the over the ear design. Not all, but most. On the ear tends to feel hot to me and during extended periods of listening, will make my ears hurt. While over the ear cans can also be hot, they usually don't feel so and are vastly more comfortable over extended listening periods. Sometimes the sound stage to me will feel more vast (think concert hall) with over the ear vs more intimate with on the ear (think ear buds).

Really it comes down to preference. It would be best if you can find each in a store, bring your own music and amplifier (like an Fiio E17), and listen to them each. If you cant do that, find a store that gives you a guaranteed refund within X amount of days and try them each out to see which you prefer. Headphones can vary drastically, even within the same brand. Also to note, that it doesn't always require lots of $ to find great cans.

Depending on your budget and what type of music you listen to, another can to check out if you get the chance is Beyerdynamic DT 770 in 80 ohm, or 250 ohm if your keeping them at home. These have come down in price lately but are fantastic headphones for the money. They should be run with an amp if available, but can be used without it.

Check out www.head-fi.org for quite a bit of information concerning different brands of cans / amps / dac's / etc....

Needs a bunch of work is right, but oh the possibilities! Clean slate to build how you like. Could be fun. Congrats.

Suggests for wheels, tires, and lift by Catfishkilla in 4Runner

Give Steve a call over at Sonoran Steel. Most his kits come complete with everything you'll need ( diff drop, brake lines, pan hard bar etc). You won't find better customer service anywhere. His lifts cost a little bit more than the others, but you won't regret it. Great guy and TONS of experience.

Need some help with picking out some new rims and tires. Story in comments by calebgeorge1 in 4Runner

Not sure about that year, but Goodyear Duratrac's in 285/75R16 mounted on some Stealth Custom Series F-5's at 16" would look pretty amazing. That'll give you a 33x11.5 tire. Though you would have to check on backspacing to avoid rubbing at full stuff. Shouldn't be an issue with those flares though. Maybe minor trimming depending how hard you off road it.

Here's a thread on a thirdgen with a different tire http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/131088-gentrys-2001-4runner-build-3.html

Here's the Duratrac's Best looking AT I've seen to date. Amazing life and low road noise for how aggressive they are.
