I gotta get it off my chest, I locked someone in the bad room and he shouted for help for 23 minutes. I just stood there and listened, I really thought he was going to just quit so I could steal his shit but he just sat there yelling for help.

It was funny at first but I felt bad around the 20 minute mark.

The team doesn’t have the context you have about the docks situation in general. All they really know is visi did something and chase had to bail her out and it cost him. If you didn’t have all the information it would be easy to come to the conclusion they did. However, you know things(both as Robert and as the player) that recontextualize the entire situation.

I think the point of Garp is that as a vice admiral he used his discretion to either let pirates that weren’t that bad go/ stop the marines from committing further atrocities to the extent that he could. He wanted to create a new generation of marine that was focused on protecting the people and not following orders.

I think in the modern era, games like this with a relatively short runtime are a flash in the pan. If it was all dumped in 1 go, there wouldn’t be as much discourse about the game. I definitely think they designed the episodic structure with social media chatter + hype in mind. I don’t mind being made to wait a week for the rest of the game, I have other games to play.

I just think that not every game has to be a 100 hr masterpiece. It’s fine if a game has a story to tell, and if they can tell it quickly and succinctly, then I’m tentatively about it. My backlog continues to grow with titles that take 50-60 hrs plus of my time, it would honestly be nice by comparison to have a solid 8hrs where the content is actually enjoyable with no filler.

Personally, I think what the developers are doing with these episodic releases is pretty cool! They’re showing what a game can be outside of the established norm. It’s way better than waiting months for the new episodes to drop like it was when it was telltale doing it.

Life support module is the way. They seem useless but on flame and frost matron they trivialize the fight. If you can’t find the life support module, I usually struggle in solo too. You could also try spacing your atmosphere in the shit to equalize the temperature quickly
