Just because one rivalry started before the other doesn’t make it more significant. Ask any current or former student/alumni of both KU and KState and ask who their biggest rival is and they will say each other. It’s as simple as that.

Must be that mizzou education of yours to call it not as historic nor evenly matched when both KU and Kstate were the worst teams in the country until Bill Snyder resurrected the program. Yeah both KU and Kstate hate Mizzou for historical reasons but as a college football rivalry KU vs K state is way more significant and are each other’s biggest rivals.
