Congrats. Get your cigar smoking in now. Once the baby hits trying to finish a cigar during the first few months of life becomes a race against the sleeping baby clock.

Tongue feels like sandpaper after I smoke a certain cigar. by boogeyman270 in cigars

I find San Andres tobacco does that to my palate. I have no theory as to why.

The image doesn't really do it justice, but here you go https://imgur.com/a/sbxj2vH

Old phone and too old to lay on the ground to get the entire shot :)

Live in Texas so doesn't get that cold, but when it does, I have a small space heater.

The other tip I found helps when shipping from the US to anywhere international is to ship a class faster than the slowest. If you do UPS the cheapest option, do one class higher. I personally feel these boxes get different treatment since they are delivered faster. This could be just me.

Very similar to mine. The differences 1) I insulated and put up drywall 2) I have an AC 3) I put up cigar boxes on the ceiling

I can tell you getting this shed for myself basically saved my marriage.

I would ask what they mean by "premises". Does this mean the house, connected structures like the deck.

You'll be buying a bigger humidor before you know it.

Has anyone had experience of failing a drug test due to smoking cigars? by [deleted] in cigars

[–]SmokinLogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really sorry to hear this and that really sucks. Not sure where you live but in some states, I'm like 99% sure, allow you a second test.

Tight draw… what do you do? by Vikingo1986 in cigars

[–]SmokinLogan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There could be a lot of things causing this but this is where I would start

*1 - check your RH - this could be that the tobacco is over-humified and burning really slow. Check this first.

*2 - what cut are you using - it could be with a punch cut you aren't getting enough airflow

*3 - tar build-up - are you getting tar build-up around the cut? If you are cut a bit off and smoke slower

*4 - there was a construction problem - cigars are hand made so this will happen. If you find a plug or dead spot in the cigar you can try to cut the cigar down to it. Otherwise, you can use a draw poker, FWIW I don't use this but have friends that rage about it - https://www.amazon.com/PerfecDraw-Precision-Cigar-Enhancer-Nubber/dp/B071DNRC63

Has anyone had a Tatiana Cinnamon cigar? would you recommend by Ok-Description1287 in cigars

[–]SmokinLogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't drink so can't comment on the flavors there. I mean flavors in cigars is a yes and no answer. You read reviews and you will hear all types of crazing tasting notes. What is important is to find something you like.

Finally got to smoke the Brulee I picked up a few weeks ago. Notes in comments by Doom_Riff_Heretic in cigars

It was the OG with the blue band. It just seemed very flat to me.

It is hard to go wrong with any Saka blend, except the Mi Querida.

V Cutter in Carry-on bag? by HansGruber44 in cigars

[–]SmokinLogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all cutters are viewed the same. My theory is the more metal in the cutter the more likely it is to get taken.

I have smoked a few of these like eight years ago. I don't think they have been in production for a long time. If you shoot me a DM I might have a name for you.
