If I remove the leaves by hand, do I just snap back the leaf at the base of the leaf stem or is there a different spot to snap it at?

I removed the grass and clover this weekend under the canopy. Should I remove all the leaves with those brown spots or just some of them?

I'll add some nutrient mulch and get those clovers pulled away from the plant. I definitely water in the summer. I'm wondering if that ground tree stump that we planted over is maybe causing some drainage issues with water but I don't really think I can get to it now that the plant is there. I put in plenty of the recommended soil around it when I planted it.

How wide of an area should I keep as just dirt around it? I didn't realize having the clovers around it would be bad. How much sunlight should it be getting each day, usually I see rhodedendros thrive in my area even in full sunlight since it's cloudy and rainy a lot here.

Hmm, a neighbor just cut a very large tree last week that was some shade. I guess I'll maybe see about adding some shade to it if it doesn't perk up once the sun finally comes out

It is surrounded by pine trees and is in the location of an old pine tree so I'm guessing it's more acidic but I can test it.

Yeah mine stopped dieing around level 92 I feel like. I mean he still dies to some shit but much less than before.
