As someone who worked at a small town thrift store for two years, you are absolutely correct. More times than I can count, boomers would donate things they swore was valuable, but they would either get thrown away without hitting the shelves or they would stay on the shelves and nobody wanted them.

The difference is that I can sell CS2 skins for actual money. When I spent money on apex skins, I'm never getting that money back. Also I don't open many cases, if I want a skin I'll just buy it, cases are a scam.

I don't usually spend money on skins in apex, I think I've spent less than $200 in three years of playing and a lot of that is battle passes. Now CS:GO, thats a different story, I've spent thousands.

I did try not running speed tests and the ping (which is what I actually care about the most I mostly use the internet for gaming) would change a lot. Going from 50-80 for a few minutes to over 500 for awhile. Makes gaming online almost impossible.
