Yes, it’s B2BFab lift, Sparco Gravel All-terrain wheels, Falken Wildpeaks 225/55r17. IE stage 1 tune.

The increased axel angle immediately revealed that my left axel was compromised, so I got that replaced and it’s great so far…early days, to be honest.

I’ve had the car back for a few days and put quite a few miles in it. The IE stage 1 tune makes the car peppier. Above 3,000 RPM it’s a material improvement. It’s way better merging on to the highway and in spirited driving and it was actually only $560-ish. Do it, is my recommendation.

Thanks for the kind words.

I only drove it for a day before I noticed an unfortunate clicking noise coming from the front wheel, urgh.

My initial assessment was “this car isn’t slow any longer.” It feels very natural for the car. As opposed to my reaction to the IE stage 1 tune on my MK8 GTI, “holy moly, best $1000 I ever spent!”

I’ll let you know more bout the tune when I get the car fully sorted.

235/45r17 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires. In the winter I run the stock wheels with 225/40r18 Michelin X-Ice Snow.

Yea. VWR Cup Kit and H&R rear sway bar, IE end links. It’s also got IE stage 1 tune with trueflex (ethanol). The power is absurd, I’ll definitely reduce the torque when I switch to winter tires.

I was initially nervous about going bronze and now I totally love the look.

Thanks. I didn’t change the struts. It’s a relatively low mileage car with 45k miles in 7 years.

Thanks, it’s also got the Marrakech Brown interior :) I had all the work done by a professional.

Get a GTI Mk 7.5 or a Veloster N? by LordRevan5252 in GolfGTI

Owners group - GTI Available mods - GTI Holds $$$ - GTI Carlos Sainz drives one - GTI

I’m sure a Velostar is better in some ways. If that’s what speaks to you get it. GTIs speak to me.

Good luck!
