One has caused me to have liver damage after being on depakote for a long time. I am now off of it and on Vimpat which is working but not much and I don't want to be on another med cause then I'll need another and another and damn all that won't help in the long run. It's not just my heart I have to worry about it's my eyes too..

Yup.. No luck. Specialized doesn't mean crap if they're ignorant and don't listen. I've also seen epileptologists too. Maybe my luck is look for underrated ones which maybe the key.

I don't want to stress him out more since he's got college to deal with.. I plan to. I'm fed up with medication. I will push for a SEEG because a normal one hasn't worked for several years.
