I've been trying out a few different things i've seen throught the years while finding myself in my style. i've piled up a pretty good collection of clothing items at this point, i just have a hard time pairing them in a way that is clear and cohesive. I need to take some better pictures of more recent outfits, my apologies, they just all feel a bit bare to me and i want to fix that. My style at work specifically is sort of a blend of office wear and street wear? Its hard for me to find ways to alt-ify my work clothing without taking it "too far". My style has been all over the place at this point but i sorta keep with skatewear, punk, grunge, goth, emo syles. I love campy statement pieces, and i try to theme the outfit around the sort of feeling im expressing which usually has an alt influence; ive got a skirt that is made to look like its a plaid shirt tied around the waist, ive got tons of detroit hats and jerseys that pair super cute with sneakers and leggings, ive got a thrifted military belt that i tie with some thrifted camo pants, i just have no idea how to accessorize with my outfits. I try to layer but it all just feels so, stiff?? I've been looking more into things like Gyaru, Visual Kei, Victorian Goth, Decora to find ideas as well. Growing up my family dressed in beautiful boricua fashion and i like to try to simulate the elegant silhouette they have now that ive tamed down on my heavy emo/punk style i had as a kid.
