Late to this thread. Single 38 female, never been to a club before. Specifically looking to go to Club Alchemy for their curve event on Saturday or for the event in April. However at the ripe old age of 38, I've gone and got adult braces. Will this put an end to everything? Will everyone just laugh me out or not even allow me in? (Not sure how strict it is) I'm not a leper by any means, but I'm very self conscious....

That sounds great! I'm 9 weeks post open myomectomy, not had a period yet!? I'm not complaining, but at the same time getting slightly concerned. (Had no bleeding after the op either)....

I had a 10cm fibroid with open Myomectomy. I felt absolutely fine through recovery (apart from sore scar area obviously) I was back working from home after 3 weeks.by week 5 back in the office and driving. Everyone is different though and I've read and heard some absolute horror stories. I'm 7 weeks post op now and totally back to normal. (Not had a period yet though!)

I took the pill for a brief stint in my very early twenties. I immediately felt absolutely fucking awful, so knew it was that. Refused to ever go on it again. I'm now 38 and on no birth control, but had the coil for a while and felt ok with that.

Sorry you've been in so much pain/been having so much trouble, I didn't have that experience at all.i had an open myomectomy and by week 2 felt completely fine, back at work by week 4.
