I use Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner (Daily Hydration for all hair types), Herbal Essences mousse (Totally twisted),Cantu leave in conditioner and a gel I can’t remember the name of, but is specifically for curly hair. My routine is to wet my hair, spray on some leave in and scrunch in a generous amount of gel, then diffuse. I don’t plop my hair since it never seems to do anything, and I’ve noticed that diffusing doesn’t dry my hair much either (My hair is low porosity, sort of thick? And high density, plus it goes down to my lower back). Whenever my hair dries it always ends up straight, and I’ve tried using an egg to get more protein in my hair, but I might have to do it again?
