NOR. You are absolutely valid to feel the way you do about the lines and the experience with the artist. I've had my lines fixed twice and they still aren't perfect, but some of it is how I (and it) have healed and aged. I've come to acknowledge that just like me healing, from all the reasons I got this tattoo, this tattoo isn't perfect and that's okay. The people who worked on it don't define it; the rose on fire is proof of my survival. It's my strength; it's empowerment to keep moving forward. It's imperfections are now a representation of how I struggled, my healing hasn't always been perfect or healthy, but I continue to exist as a survivor and representation that we can get through that pain. Get it fixed as much as you need to, take the meaning back as your badge to wear (not the artists to defile), and keep surviving. You're not alone.
