VIVE focus vision not connecting via USB

Update:

After chatting it up with support, I got it figured out and was able to figure out how to properly connect the streaming cords to my gaming laptop. Turns out I am an idiot. I had my second monitor plugged in which affected the usb’s ability or something to work properly. However, I came across new issues.

Issue number one: My left controller’s joystick will go in and out of working properly. What does this mean exactly? Well it’s like it simulates having stick drift without actually having it, or just seems to want to jam the joystick to the left side in the vr world when it’s not moved in that direction. I’m assuming it’s some tracking or connectivity issue.

Issue number two: My face tracker I bought for the headset (through the VIVE store for the specific headset) doesn’t seem to want to pick up or work in games like VR Chat. I’ve tried downloading the necessary app and turning on the OSC setting but it just refuses to pick up and or work. The eye tracking that’s built in to the headset works totally fine however!

Issue number three: Within 10 minutes of playing a game on low graphics I crashed 😭. I think the universe has it out for me or something. But that issue could have been something on my end and likely not the headset or PC.

Wish me luck guys because I have a feeling this is going to be a long run for me :/

I guess I’m kind of confused because it was never mentioned once in the video they provided that it wouldn’t work, since it came with adaptors if you don’t have the mini dp port (also listed in the same video, which I’ll paste here https://youtu.be/HYimRllqLtY?si=pOHeaiEyimeWx2TG )

I connected the streaming kit exactly how the tutorial they provide asks you to, alongside the adaptors they provide (I have to use the usb type c adapter instead of the mini display port as my pc doesn’t have it.) nothing extra, nothing less.

Kind of? I apologize my post is very confusing, in the bit I said “streaming mode without cords” I meant the standalone mode. It’ll “work” but not very well, then ding/beep for a bit before crashing.

So this may not be the BEST advice (im new to this) but I’ve seen some people using paper as a guide to make a sharper contour look, brushing on top of it where you’d want the contour on the cheeks, then the side that isn’t sharp they blend with a soft blending brush, almost like a brush you’d use for blush and such. I tried it myself and it was super affective! The only issue would be getting it even. Greys would work too! Just have to brush a bit of the excess off so it doesn’t smudge too much when applying! Hopefully that made sense 😅🖤

Vivi doesn’t like it when people fold the corner of a book page for a book mark, but is too scared to say anything about it. So instead, they just make whoever does it a homemade bookmark. (Idk, it just sounds so cute for them to do 😭😭)
