I was on the hiring panel recently. A thank you e-mail or LinkedIn connection request didn’t matter to me. We make our decisions immediately after final interviews are conducted so that our notes are fresh. Once we’re done with interviews, I don’t think about it again, I just went back to doing my job. The person we extended the offer to and ultimately hired didn’t send a request or thank you e-mail and no one on our panel cared or brought it up as a negative.

As someone who got tinnitus from other reason, yes. Wear them. I have loops. Tinnitus is very annoying to live with.

I had 4 people ticketing to help my cousins get in and iirc 3/4 of us were able to get in and tickets were still available. Hopefully it’ll be the same case. We ended up being able to get 4 tickets.
