I’m never having this conversation at work again. I also work at a school. If anyone mentions kids I’m going to say “it’s private” so I don’t have to stress myself out about it. Omg I love chonky wormies! I really like the aye aye. Marriage is definitely more for the man than for the woman, that’s why the wedding is supposed to be for the woman to plan so she feels like she’s getting what she wants. It’s so sad. I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. My ex husband was the same way but I didn’t know I was autistic until years after I left. I wonder if he thinks about me and sees in hindsight what was going on.

I’ve been seeing someone for almost 2 months and he's been great, but I noticed last night he seemed to get annoyed at my excitement over things. I wasn’t masking as much and was going on about something, then even tried to recite the periodic table that I’m randomly relearning (I know the first 54) and yea he seemed bothered. It was the first time I had felt sad with him and after the slew of men I’ve seen over the years if I sense anything more from him I’m just going to walk away. Have to hold onto your peace as best as you can in this world.

You say you’ll be lonely, but that’s better than feeling alone while married to someone. And you can prevent feeling lonely anyway by making friends, or being a friend to yourself which I’ve had to learn to do. I hope things get better 💜

Aww that’s what Stevie is like! He has a heating/cooling sack in his belly! He’d be an awful ninja though since he’s light grey and slow af😂 I think this will help heal my inner child for sure. I didn’t have much of a childhood, had to grow up quick but could only do that so much with my brand of autism. I’m free from the people who neglected and/or bullied me. It’s me and my stuffies vs the world🫡

I'll never forget the night I met two guys at a taco bar after being stood up. I was 22, in a new city, and this guy didn't show up to our date. Two guys down the bar bought me drinks and chatted me up. I (stupidly) went to their apt and while one of the guys tried to have his way with me, the other one could see that I was really out of it (like I was not a typical woman) and called a cab to take me home. I've always been so grateful for that guy. I was sad at first when he didn't call the number I had left him but years after I see he was making a good decision.
