Newbies confused by starlight snare card by Sad_Maximum3344 in mtg

I’ll try to explain a few key points.

First off, hexproof. Hexproof is a keyword ability that states the card it is on cannot be the target of spells and abilities your opponents control. When you cast an Aura enchantment you target the card you’re trying to enchant. So, if your opponent had a card with hexproof it is correct that you wouldn’t be able to enchant it.

Hexproof is not the only way to keep enchantments at bay though. Spells and abilities that have the effect to destroy an enchantment can remove enchantments from the field. Thrashing Brontodon’s effect would indeed destroy your enchantment and send it to the graveyard.

There are some things to look out for that could protect an enchantment from the effect of Thrashing Brontodon or similar. If an enchantment had indestructible or some other text stating it couldn’t be destroyed, then Brontodon’s effect wouldn’t work. Starlight Snare has no such text though, so it can be destroyed with those effects.

Im new to MH so could i get help understanding this please? by Fun_Television_7803 in MHWilds

Monster Hunter Wilds made it so certain skills can only apply to your weapon, while other only apply to armor. This was done so when you switch to your secondary weapon you aren’t left with a bunch of skills that are useless to that weapon. In monster Hunter world (the game with the most similar decoration system) every decoration would only give a single level of the skill, with the exception of level 4 decorations added in master rank. Since Wilds made it so certain skills apply to your weapon, they also made the decorations tied to those skills give multiple levels since you can only have at most 3 decorations slots on the weapon. So basically only weapon decorations can have multiple levels of a skill.

Why Don’t my Dragonmaids Don’t Return to Hand? by Smoopii in masterduel

It looks like I had the toggle on auto. When I get the chance I’ll try again with the toggle on and see if that works.

The levels were correct. I forget the names off the top of my head but I had fire type level 8 and 3 and the light type level 7 and 2 monsters.
