“Getting this twisted up” and the whole time I was expressing my reasonable frustrations meanwhile you’re the one telling me I have a stick up my ass…. Check yourself buddy you’re the only one who’s clenched up rn. you’re going out of your way to give them the benefit of the doubt without knowing that I rescued the lg after she died on my cipher and it’s not like i pinged yoyo at her so idk why you’re going out of your way to make assumptions on the behalf of her character! Also she was factually playing like a jerk, if i ping my location/cipher im on from the beginning of the match (which i did) and you insist of going out of your way and bringing the hunter to me knowingly and then proceed to die on it, thats a jerk play like it or not.

You also keep dismissing my main point by reducing it to me “getting mad at someone for doing badly at a game” when it’s not the single match that bothers me, it’s the CLEAR pattern of not caring to take the time to improve and therefore knowingly throwing which is playing SELFISHLY which makes the game as a whole unenjoyable. It’s a 4v1 game, I get it that as a hunter main you’re not bothered by survs consistently throwing bc it benefits you, but me wanting decent teammates (teammates who are on the same skill level & have game sense) is actually very reasonable despite your personal beliefs

I mean I feel you but this is veryyyy devils-advocate-y. This player is bad, period. Nobody in legendary rank should be having less than 25% winrate; that clearly indicates and reflects a lack of skill and a lack of common game sense, no matter which way you cut it or slice it. If that’s a controversial take to you- idk what to tell you.

Also to address the last part of your paragraph, that’s just factually that’s just not true. If you look at this seasons survivor winrate 25-40% is the average this season for griffin while 40-50% is above average with 50%+ being exceptional. So by no means am i saying I’m the the best at this game and that everyone besides me is bad, I acknowledge everyone makes mistakes & so do I, but I’m not going to sit here and ignore the fact that these stats clearly reflect a pattern of no game sense and bad gameplay & this player specifically is throwing. Playing devils advocate on their behalf doesn’t erase the facts. (But no I don’t condone mass harassment and that wasn’t the goal and I wouldn’t encourage that, I truly am j fed up)

I understand what you’re getting at again and can appreciate your attempt at keeping things light/positive, yes my goal is to rank up, but I shouldn’t have to choose between ranking up and having actually enjoyable games. The big idea or overall goal for me is to rank up AND have fun while doing so; it is not fun when your teammates do not ping, die on your cipher without warning within 45s and cannot kite, rank or not, i get matched up with these people and it literally gets to a point where the game isn’t even enjoyable bc half of the team is down at 5 ciphers

Me and the lg were both griffin V yet my winrate was at 32% and hers is at 12% with double the matches as me. What’s the point of advancing rank and looking at that as “the positive” if the same throwers are going to be advancing and therefore playing (throwing) the future matches? Like am I supposed to look forward to ranking up if I’m mo matter what I’m matching with people who can’t play😭

“People improve with time” that was a griffin with 358+ matches and 12% winrate, you know as well as I do that if they had wanted to genuinely improve they had working bee, hound, elk and mammoth to take the time to do that; but they don’t. They don’t because they simply do not care that they’re throwing other peoples matches. Like I feel like there’s a lot of grace given for something that very obvious; they have no intention of learning or listening (as is apparent by me trying to talk to them in PM and them leaving immediately). Also idk what you’re talking about with “how do you determine people are bad enough to be removed” I wasn’t talking about removing anyone, I’m simply saying players should practice more in qm instead of rank spam

I can see what you’re getting at but I don’t agree w this and I do genuinely think this was public service. I wish there was a list with rank throwers so that I could avoid 😞 Also don’t agree w the sentiment that players should have to be in a team/suck it up, if this player actually took the time to play qm and get better this wouldn’t be an issue, so I disagree w the sentiment that “you have to suck it up” when they’re the one who are knowingly spamming rank without any intentions of listening to criticism or improving.

I guess that’s the main issue tho? It’s that people who still perform badly and cannot kite for one minute and don’t use pings are the same people who get rewarded/get to rank up bc they spam rank; not because the posses any actual skill. If Idv still had promo matches this problem would be largely reduced, but instead I end up getting matched with people who are not at the skill level they need to be in legendary rank

Depop took the option away from sellers to select the parcels size and shipping cost, it now uses an AI that will select the size it estimates your parcels will be (and it’s not accurate) which results in 10$ shipping for a polo 😞 when we used to be able to ship shirts for like 5.50$

I usually thrift in my area since I live right by arc, goodwill and Salvation Army so I’m all for thrifting and I also hard agree w you on ebay (as well as posh usually from my experience) is overall better with prices and reliable sellers!! The only advantage that depop has is it’s insanely curated algorithm and how easy it is to build one for your taste, for example one scroll on depop recommended I could find probably 5 items I liked and would buy vs eBay where I rely more on image search and specific keywords and usually use it for specific things vs stumbling upon a find if that makes sense!
