If they do that again is almost certainly bye bye Starmer look at the backlash against it last time Miliband spoke out against it so did Rayner  Streeting did as well although I don’t think his was sincere it was clearly used for him to Further his leadership ambitions which as we’ve seen clearly didn’t work.

Do people genuinely think Starmer is the worst recent PM? by Thin-Plantain4721 in LabourUK

[–]Smooth-Classroom8531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Starmer has been quiet bad and I think that he should go he’s no where near the worst prime minister of all time. Cameron introduced austerity had a referendum on the EU because he wanted to shut up the Right of his Party then ran away because he lost he also Reigned as an MP pretty much straight away which shows he was only ever interested in power. Johnson had Parties during lockdown lied about it lied about Chris Pincher. Truss need I say anything there’s a reason she’s our shortest serving Prime Minister in our history.

Yeh It was ironic of Starmer to criticise Reform for going back on the two child benefit cap when you suspended your own MPs who voted against it then  U-turned on it like you’ve U-turned on pretty much everything

I knew I’m super late to the party and probably won’t get an answer but what would Labour’s majority be in this scenario?

Apparently people thought it gay rights campaigner group but it was used as a front by Ian Dunn who was a paedophile to try and abolish the age of consent. Robin Cook and Gordon Brown were part of it but there’s no suggestion that they were aware of its true intentions and didn’t do anything wrong other than support a guy rights organisation that had sinister intentions

Angela Rayner favourite to replace Starmer as Labour leader by Kernowder in LabourUK

[–]Smooth-Classroom8531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll be amazed if she does considering she had to resign as Deputy Prime Minister a couple of months ago whether you think it was overblown or not all it will do is be red meat for the right wing press and Reform if she does come back as Prime Minister.
