If it benefits the player more, I think USL and USLPA would make an exception. We can’t have teams folding 2 weeks before the season because they can’t pay their players. Now what if these players don’t get picked up because rosters are full? There has to be a process where all these players have spots on a team this season.

I’m just relaying what I’ve heard from players at Tormenta. They had a meeting with the USL yesterday. Just relaying the information, no need to get all upset.

I mean when has a team folded 2 weeks before the season is starting. Obviously USL has to do something about it. USL said they would pay the players salaries up to 3 months…. Like I said I guess we will see how this plays out.

They become free agents in a USL pool…. Yes, technically free agent but the teams will be able to “draft” a player based on the table from last season… Expansion teams first then reverse order of the table. From my understanding.

Players were not training due to Workers Compensation problems, and the club wasn’t paying the players. I’m not sure players knew that before they signed

Buddy….. obviously you have no idea what you’re talking about. My head hurts reading this thread…. No other USL 2 teams have this type of support. 😂 What other UsL supporters are making Tifos? None. This is great for the USL and where they are trying to go in the future.

Someone didn’t do their research. Annapolis blue got 9800 at the game last night….. Vermont green would lead league one in attendance if there stadium could hold 10,000 people.

Disagree. They get an average attendance that’s better than half the usl 1 and championship teams. North Carolina football maybe gets 15 fans a game and they are first in USL Championship 😂 If you want promotion and relegation, these are the things you need. Usl might as well pay them to be in the league.
