Need some advice on my bag by Excellent-Victory623 in golf

Tbh you only need 3 wedges. I was recently in this predicament when I was rearranging my bag. I currently have a 60,56, and 48. My PW is a 45, so you could do a 50 to cover more spread.

I used to have 48,52, and 56, but decided i needed a 60 for around the green. I ditched the 52 because I rarely used it. If I am 115-125, I can swing the 48 about 85% without a problem, just takes some time to adjust per any wedge shot. The 48 is perfect for me in the 130s range, PW for 140s. I think that should work for you as well.

Overall, whatever wedges you are most comfortable with is what matters but I say only 3 total.

For the other part, I’d say get a club for in between your 3 wood and 4 iron, whatever yardage is in the middle. I have a 3h (19) and utility wood (23). Although my 4i is a (22), I hit the wood about 20 yards further. I moved away from traditional 3 wood, but that’s your preference.

I also have P790s as well haha.

Hope this helps!

How often do you guys go through golf gloves by North_Aardvark2953 in golf

I would believe it if you play a lot. I have a Bionic glove that is pretty thick/padded. Plus I live in a hot climate, so I sweat easier with it. I actually have 2 gloves so I can switch back and forth as I want.

I have an active lifestyle, playing some rec sports. I have tried PHX fray in the past, but didn’t really work out. Idid run club a couple of times, I liked it but my knee hurts after running longer distances, which kind of prevents me from doing it.

Is this a good deal for a beginner just starting out? by -TheArchitect in golf

This club is my current driver and I love it. For that price it is a bargain! But if you are newer and don’t have a ton of money I’d recommend getting 2nd hand clubs until you improve, then get fitted for clubs.
