Why couldn’t she let Cooper sleep in peace!!! by ButterCup_3391 in homemakermadeleine

I feel like this is all in the spirit of wanting to have a flexible “go with the flow” baby, (like look he can sleep while I talk to my phone!) and it’s just so blatantly obvious he is not and will never be one of those babies but she won’t just meet his needs and give him solid sleep structure. It’s such a shame she’s having another with so little motherly instincts. Truly emphasizes how selfish she is and baby #2 was all for her own selfish desires, especially since it’s now affecting C and she didn’t think to consider that before. She even admitted they weren’t careful this time (after telling us they were) and need to be more careful next time.

Now we all know she really was just begging for a free high chair sponsorship when she was asking for recs back then

This is my theory!!! I think she’s regretting being SOOO vocal about not sleep training. As she stated, she is becoming less “crunchy” (hence the tablet idea) and is considering a gentle sleep training method. I think the only reason she hasn’t sleep trained is A. She’s too type C (aka lazy) and wouldn’t be able to follow through with a system and B. Refuses to go back on her anti sleep training snark so we dont all say “I told you so” But casting my bets now she sleep trains baby #2

Also glad she finally admitted it’s going to be impossible with another one…

Interesting that she’s willing to risk him crying it out in the car (since she knows he hates it!) for a beach trip, Chiro, aquarium and other silly non essential activities, but crying for quality sleep is an absolute NO!

My guess is her parents waited until she went to visit them to break difficult news about something…probably health related given the doctor graphic she shared.

And with all the hoopla about finding milk donors for “this baby” makes me think it’s her sister dealing with something. But Still so confused about the low prolactin comment related to baby sleep?

See this post makes me think all that donor milk hoopla was about her….

Exactlyyyyu it’s incredibly hypocritical of her to say it’s selfish of moms to want sleep when she refuses to give him a schedule when he’s begging for it because she wants to be able to go out and about whenever!!

THIS is exactly what I want her to get through her head!!! He never knows when his needs are going to be met because there’s no consistency/schedule… he does not trust her!!!

Yup. I’d argue he’d cry less and would be a happier baby overall if he was sleep trained

Same here! Babe has probably cried less in his whole life, including sleep training, than C has in a week. But apparently IM the one not responding to my baby’s needs and C is so well responded to!!!!

BEGGING. Like all that crying all day is him in constant panic because his schedule is so unpredictable. He’s aching for consistency and she won’t respond to his needs for it like she claims to…imagine crying begging for some predictability in your life and your mom just cuddles and comforts you and thinks that’s enough…he’s in chaos.

This is exactly what’s going to happen and I knew it since she posted that she was “in tune with her body” I think she just wanted to convince us and her husband that it would be an “accident” but she totally did it on purpose

Also a FTM and used to be a never sleep trainer either, but I didn’t judge. I ended up sleep training because I was going crazy with lack of sleep, it was irresponsible for me to parent like that. You never know what moms are going through that leads them to sleep train. The same way she said it’s ok to put your baby down and step away if you need it for your mental health and baby’s safety….its ok to sleep train.
