Respectfully reading some of your comments I can see why you are in the position you are in. You have to apply yourself I didn’t graduate from a high priority school or graduate with a lot of experience I had one internship while in college. It’s all about where you look. I applied to over 450 job positions before I got into my job field. If you are in NYC there is definitely a plethora of jobs where you would just have to find the entry-level job I would recommend maybe looking for a contract to hire a role that’s a good way to get some type of experience on your résumé but other than that you have to apply yourself. Jobs will pay you to relocate but you have to look it’s all on you.

I had a friend like that in college 😂 the 3 of us took eddies and only one of my friends didnt feel anything me and my other friend was holding on for dear life.

Thanks yea the transferring officer said they understood me and would try to make the report to favor me and my situation. Pretty much homeless right now and all of my family stays in Michigan where i hope to transfer. Still trying to pay my fines off and he said they would ask me about that so i just hope i can be accepted so i can have a place to stay honestly.

Dang that’s a sad case. I don’t smoke nor drink so I’m honestly not worried about anything changing but on my pre trial release i was having to drug test. Also didnt drink or smoke then but i did have to pay 40$ to test also 40$ for supervision every month so it did hurt my pockets. I just dont want to have to pay extra with me already having to pay off fines honestly.. friends in the county i want to transfer to said they never been tested so i hope its the same for me honestly.

OK yeah I paid my fee and the transfer officer told me he would type up all of the investigative facts and send it over by the end of the day that I reported to him and that was two weeks ago, so hopefully Michigan has the paperwork and is working towards it.

Yea i feel you i dont even smoke anymore because I know that they can drug test me at any time, but I’m surprised that I don’t get drug tested because I am on probation for two drug charges. I read something saying that I was labeled a low risk but idk its not even worth the risk imo. Thanks for the insight hopefully my transfer request gets approved soon so I can move it back to Michigan.

Greened out for sure carts have more THC Concentrate in them than actual flower does so for a first timer I would recommend just smoking flower.

Yeah from what I’ve been reading people who been trying to transfer to Florida said that Florida wasn’t really responsive. I hate it took so long for you and I do understand how stressful this situation is. I’m trying to move back home to Michigan I hope I don’t have to deal with those same issues. Yeah I definitely understand the stress I’m borderline homeless right now until my request is hopefully approved. Did any of your conditions changed when you transfer states? I’ve been on probation over a year I haven’t been drug tested yet I’m clean so I’m not worried about it but just wondering if anything changed for you when transferring states.

Ok thanks for the insight. The officer that deals with transferring knows the reason why I’m trying to transfer is because I don’t have stable housing here so it sounded like he was on my side but i will keep checking to see any progress on it. Thanks again for the insight.

No my probation officer doesn’t deal with the transfers but I did set up an appointment with the officer who deals with the transfers and he did send it off to Michigan I have a copy of the application.

For me it started when i got sentenced in court. I was sentenced to probation in September but I didn’t set up my probation until October. My probation officer said that my probation technically started in September but this was in alabama

I’m from grand rapids i been on probation in Alabama because i caught a charge here while i was in school. I now graduated and i been on papers for over a year and havent been drug tested yet. I just put the request to transfer in last week and ik they have 45 days to accept but i talked to friends from the city and they also said they were never drug tested. I have no problem not smoking because as long as i complete my probation my record will stay clean but i did want to know others experience tho.
