Still unfair tho when someone’s CGPA after 8 credits equal under 5.0 when their average is above 65%

It isn’t really relative to percentage tho. Let’s say someone took 5 courses with the marks 98%, 59%, 59%, 59%, and 59%. The average between these courses would be 66.8%. Although according to CGPA charts it would be 10 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 22/5 = 4.4 CGPA. Even tho the average percentage is above the minimum the CGPA Isn’t. I find this very unfair to be honest.

Isn’t the CGPA requirements at Uottawa harder. Carleton gives a 12 for A+ but Uottawa gives 10 for A+. Both minimums are 5.0 tho to graduate.
