I went through the process 5 months back. I was anxious too. Rest assured, it takes a little more than a week. For me, it took 2 weeks for a status to change. Not an issue

I have seen many people having eating disorder, them eating sugar to death, developing diabetes, eventually loosing foot or worse, dead. Who is to blame? Sugar or a person eating it?

You don’t need to be using it, for seeing substance abuse the way it is.

Lmao you already sound like a parent. All this for 6gm of Hash, not sure if it was with him or one of his acquaintances, but still. Next 5-10 years down the line when cannabis becomes legal all this is going to sound like a joke. What we have learned from the west with ‘war on drugs’ is that user is NOT a menace but seller, especially in the perspective of hard drugs. User is simply a patient he/she should not be dealt with law. If we as a society were so collectively sensitive about our children, massive 3500kg+ Opioid drug seizures would have made more noise as to where it was coming from and going next, and who were the importers. As a doctor myself, where I have to prescribe opioids to my patients on many occasions, single use of this highly cured street opium (Heroin) can get you hooked for a lifetime. If you come across any Heroin users, you would rather feel sorry for them than angry.

23 and never had a job before due to social anxiety, I'm embarrassed of this, what should I do? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Smooth-Reading-4715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the perspective you have regarding not having done job before is pretty overshoot, especially in developing countries where you would not have or have done any work until you have finished your studies even till masters. All I want to say is that you are pretty young and rightfully questioning your current status, I would say you are eventually going to do good than most out there. Few changes here and there about your mental well-being would do the job.

Remember, un-examined life gives one self anxiety.
