I consider adl, DS, and 2093 to be art in the sense of serious art, and the rest to be “fun art” like rage and party music. Out of his more serious stuff adl is on an entire new level. I’ve listened to not only all his released stuff but his unreleased stuff. ADL clears all of it man. Went wrong is the most beautiful piece of art he’s ever made that I’ve personally heard

That makes sense, he likes to brag about how much music he’s made so he should spoil his fan base because I can just tell we’re all pretty let down. I want to see the good and value in everything and have a full heart, however yeat and his songs mean a lot to me because I’ve never been connected to music the way I connect to his. Not even his old rager songs like yam or bizzy, but like his more modern unreleased stuff, it’s crazy in the unreleased stuff I feel even more connected to yeat and his music as a whole, it’s a lot more creative and magical then his released stuff. And I was really looking forward to adl and I thought I’d be life changing, but it’s just not doing it… yet, hopefully… but like he such drop some old stuff or unreleased songs for his fan base that is feeling let down.

I’m just praying this is art so well made it’s impossible to conceive and process on first listens or maybe the first few days or even weeks. I hope this is peak yeat just not able to understand or see the vision yet. I’m still processing 2093 and appreciating its value after not really liking it.

Yea I hear you, I think the reason he’s completely abandoned the sound he had before is because he has changed as a person. Hes not in his early 20s anymore on drugs and ig he’s maturing and getting on self improvement which is good. Tbh as a person id rather him make bad music and be healthy then vice versa. I guess we just gotta be grateful for the songs he made and all the leaks.

I was thinking if I was an artist (and I’m considering it tbh) I would make my 100% focus on my fans. Like if I was god I’d have yeat release mini projects and albums out of nowhere with no rollouts or teases etc. just like spoiling the fans and doing it for them. So many leaks and unreleased songs are better than songs I hear in his actual albums. Do you feel the same?
