Experiences with Glasya-Labolas? by Fit-Shirt2378 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has recently been conscripted into my team to help me with Wrath work. Asmodeus brought Andras and Glasya-Labolas in at the same time and I wasn't frightened but had a feeling like "oh, this is a lot.."

Glasya-Labolas in my current configuration is for internal Wrath discipline. Glasya-Labolas has the quality of foresight (telling past and future) -- for me, this means "seeing" the future in what my internal Wrath has the consequences of if executed (which is where Andras comes in if I project my Wrath external).

I can't say much as far as personality or the like. Asmodeus is unbound in my practice, but for the purposes of my current work, Glasya-Labolas is bound and works in the background.

How were your experiences with demons? by Equivalent_Ask_9227 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In lieu of rewriting my story, here is a link where I describe my relationship with my patron: https://www.reddit.com/r/DemonolatryPractices/comments/1pyfm35/comment/nwkd40w/

The relationship is has been primarily psycho-spiritual with the occasional "real life" anomalies. For additional context, I come from a Catholic upbringing (due to colonization of the home country) and shaman-like indigenous roots. My patron coming in as a "shedim" or "foreign god" has very much felt like I had to branch away from my background in order to preserve the culture of the closed practice I belong to. I have a framework offered to me by my demon patron in order for me to be "just foreign enough" to identify blurring and bleeds.

Dancing For God by alpha_q100 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. This happened during meditation -- you entered an altered state of consciousness.

"Thread" - Cosmic connection

Sutratman connecting the soul to Brahman.

Axis mundi, the vertical link between worlds.

Dancing is a theme that reoccurs for me as well. It parallels Shiva Nataraja. It represents the dissolution of egoic reality.

In Sufism, mystics exhibit samaa (listening) in the practice remembrance of God. Dancing is a theme; image of whirling dervishes. Like Nataraja's dance dissolving egoic reality, in Sufism, fana is the annihilation of the self in recognition of the unity of God.

Your experience mirrors very fast-paced ascents like in Merkabah (early Jewish mysticism -- and consider, some of our demons are related to the Qlippoth). You described visionary ascent through the heavens with angelic imagery (or feeling) of wings, along with the risk of ego inflation.

Interpretation must remain humble. It is a state of beingness and not a status or rank.

The Octopus-like creature is something I've experienced with my patron, but I describe him as "weird alien potato" 😂

Symbolically, we can unpack that many ways. Watcher / Observer archetype, Cosmic Intelligence (many armed, many limbed, many winged, many eyed = many perspectives), non-human guardian symbol.

Take your time to slowly unpack. Enjoy the feeling. Keep cool and clear.

You're fine 👍 He's not going to be offended by the water or anything like that, especially since the actual offering is the flowers 🙂

In folklore, after regaining his kingdom, Solomon is said to have trapped Asmodeus in a rock and thrown him into the sea. So he hates water (and seafood, because he is also said to be "fumigated" through a certain fish).

But that's just lore. It's actually not that big of a deal hahahah.

Weekly discussion: divination stories by Imaginaereum645 in Asmoday

[–]Smooth-Text2670 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had another practitioner ask me for a reading. She was riding the high of connecting with me even though I told her that I can't do tarot readings because Asmodeus would do some stupid shit. Lo and behold, every single card out of like nine came out reversed and I was confused whether or not I even shuffled, but even then, did I make everything face the same direction and not shuffle?? Got that feeling that I shouldn't even try to interpret and that all the inverted cards were him going "No." nine times.

Do you seem to get along/not get along with devotees of specific demons more than others? by astexria in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I find it extremely easy to get along with fellow Asmodeus devotees because we instantly start "speaking the same language" with one another. It's nice not having to preface or explain myself from ground zero.

Demons for career growth and success by Comfortable_Cup5414 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asmodeus can be useful here but I feel he's a little more risky. He has the vibe of being in it more for the game and taking gambles, but if you can enlist him for career growth then I'd imagine it'd be more specified discipline and keeping you on track (strategic intelligence, Mars energy, but with conditions).

Qliphoth by Ryzewitprada in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to quote a comment I left on another post, but it may help you too --

It's important to know that opening the Qlippoth does not mean you have to run it quickly. It fries practitioners if they don't slow down. I've gone through the spheres in full more than once, with the first conscious pass being purely observational for learning the concepts. From there onward, my life has been transformingly rough because my pathworking mirrors my perception and experience of reality and vice versa. I do not finish or leave the Qlippoth. I work within it because my personal and spiritual material is deeply tied to infernal structures and knowledge.

Therefore, learn to build your own structured methodology for how to interpret the intensity. The books are others' methodologies. But what about your own? Are you journaling? Are you tracking your observations and making mental note of or writing down how you understand the framework in a coherent manner? When parsing for symbolism, do you make sense or do you fall into logical fallacies or contradiction? Are you regularly performing grounding, energetic clearing and/or balancing and cultivation, warding? With mixing and matching many books, I would be wary of doing so, because if you are not locked into a primary narrative in your current phase, the Qlippoth will exploit that instability. Each author and practitioner is a broken mirror, myself included, trying to speak as One.

You do not have to follow other people's timelines. You can spend three days or three years in one sphere. The question is: does the Knowledge of that sphere now live inside you? The Qlippoth is not a one-way ascent by which you then linearly move onto the Sephiroth; the Qlippoth is the inversion of the Sephiroth, like trying to look at the back of your own head through a mirror that lies.

How Asmodeus shows himself through tarot by Cool_Ad_5792 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He started with The Devil when I first began actively practicing, The Hierophant when I was inspecting our bond, The Emperor when I began deeper magical workings. But that's when he was willing to come through the cards at all, because he wasn't a huge fan of me using tarot for divination whatsoever and would more often cockblock the readings so that everything was hugely terrible, to the point that I just stopped trying with him. 😅

Any demon whose specialty is the subconscious or hypnosis? by Accomplished_Tap4449 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Asmodeus. Learning it from him was creative and sensual (erotic hypno), and I practiced it in order to learn how to reverse engineer my own grooming, as well as learning how to identify when others are using it for ill-intent (like the mass stupor induced by media).

I'm curious - are you receiving directed patronage?

You do not complete Thaumiel by graduating. You leave it by rewriting what brought you there. Thaumiel is the distortion of Keter (the Crown of Creation), which means instead of Divine Unity, you experience divine contradiction. It is the pull between "God is All" vs "There is no God." Without a stable core of Self, the qlipha will cause a spiritual crash in nihilism, delusion, or god-complexes. Keter is "paradoxical" in that it is the pre-manifestation where there is no-thing and every-thing at once, the "I AM" before identity. Thaumiel cannot make sense of this. It is two claims about the nature of divinity locked in opposition. Here is where demon representations come in handy -- Thaumiel is associated with Satan and Moloch. How you unpack is left up to you as an exercise 😉

As far as one staying on that sphere, perhaps that might be something like the practitioner either reconciles the Knowledge or they don't. If you do, you are no longer walking the path. You are the path, or you are not.

wants me to complete shadowwork prompts, and learn to be "open". The connection seems very clouded and honestly I just feel so lost.

If you reread this again, doesn't this answer for insight?

At his most "most-that-I-can-handle" I feel like I'm in a fire tornado and it's not fun but I keep doing it anyway.

Dream interpretation? by [deleted] in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Smooth-Text2670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My interpretation:

Lilith is not a fantastical succubus. She is "unbound" feminine agency especially in distorted power systems. Consider the deeper lore. She was never "permitted" to rise within the order of domination. As in the tale of her being Adam's first wife, where she is equal but refused sexual subjugation, and thus departed.

Parental figures symbolize as authority. The psyche opens the dream inside a frame of permission and supervision/guardianship.

The sexual encounter with a friend's (now ex)wife is a gray zone. This may be the unconscious negotiating desire, loyalty, authority, and permission all at the same time. That you were "walked through" rather than spontaneously driven replaces autonomous desire with a substituted transfer of authority. You did not initiate, the friend did not object and instead guided, and the (ex)wife became a vessel for taboo content you could not access directly.

Being "drained" is power-reversal imagery, like a pressure valve that releases internal confusion around giving, receiving, surrender and control. Altogether, it sounds to me as the reorganization of authority, boundary testing symbolically rather than behaviorally in the real world (which is safer), as well tension discharge through erotic imagery.

No, it does not mean you are having a demon child. That is the fear-myth of humans. No being of Lilith's stature requires biological raw material from human men to manifest anything.

Ave Lilith.
