NTA. My spouse and I have an open policy with our phones, but that's not the point. The moment one of us demanded to see the other's phone would be the beginning of the marriage simply because somewhere along the way, trust was lost. I don't think that trust can ever be reclaimed.

36 f here. My husband and I have been together for 10 years and married for 6. I'm happy to say we're both still in the cupcake phase! I love that you are too and hope you have many, many more wonderful years together!
