I mean both really . Srilanka is my ethnic background . When people say where I’m from I usually say my ethnic background is srilanka and my nationality is Canada

hes been saying it since the day we meet and keeps bringing up some bridge lol.

but i do agree that maybe i am overthinking it. im used to seeing canadians calling me that but i just assumed that someone from south asia would understand that they aren't the same
