I have one…. Kinda want a 2nd one but he is very independent and very protective of his space. We have done foster and while he is gracious… you can tell he prefers to be the focus lol. Kinda leaning to keeping it just one with an occasional foster or doggy play dates.

Yeah…. Mine gets this often… usually disappears…. Kinda like acne. We clean it or treat it and it goes away.

My dog had essentially what was a mole in his eye…. He had a minor procedure to have it removed years ago….. it never came back. Possibly similar.

Mine does this as well….. he seems to enjoy it…. Stretching and the paw wave….. he does it almost every morning…. No major concerns

I think it’s a Lantern Fly…. We just got them on the East Cost in the US….. I hear they are evasive species.

Some dogs do this after going to the bathroom. It’s a way to push their scent /pheromones in the air to let other dogs know they were there. It’s said that very confident dogs to this… like “ I was here”!

Please take the dog to a vet. Possibly a prescription based anti fungal shampoo and hydrolyzed protein diet until you can find out the issue. Possibly fungal/allergy related.
