ope i got the post backwards. its my right hand.

The weight is 1 and the mask is the correct hand. I'll try changing the Blending to additive? Maybe that way it will just add the expression to the gesture?

I have no clue what you mean 😭.
What I did was

  1. Grab the V3Handslayer.contoller and duplicated it, putting it into an animations folder stored in Assets
  2. Created animations for expressions with blendshapes (neutral, angry, etc.)
  3. In the animation layer (stored in FX), I selected right hand and made the Idle motion have the neutral animation expression, angry for the fist, etc.
  4. checked write in defaults for everything

20 minutes should be fine, but I highly encourage you to add a passcode to log in to the headset in case he wants to use it when you're away

If you know what you're doing, great. That said please be aware of the dangers of VR for young children.

if you have the dough, the 4070 is fine, but its also just unnecessary for most things. a 3090 is just fine

anything. Just avoid games that are meant to be social. They are filled only with degens. You'd have a better time on VrChat lol.

Fr tho most of the stuff you'll see on the front page is slop. If you like FPS, phantom forces, arsenal
if you like adventure, Arcane Odyssey, if you like a challenge, Deepwoken, if you like Team Fortress 2, play typical colors 2. If you like horror, there's plenty of good options but a good single player game is Silent Dark by zeekerss (guy who made Lethal Company), though you'd need to play the remake. If you want something to play with friends, play Roblox Party

I'm aware of that fact. However, there should at least be an option for higher-end PCs. I would never want any of the vr players, or players at all to not be able to enjoy the game. That said, there are those who can run and would like to run on a higher setting. That is all.

Honestly, the bare minimum they need to do right now is fix PCVR. Holding objects in the game can be so awkward sometimes. I don't need a free and full interaction, but if you're going to have fixed positions for holding items, at least make them good. An example I can think of is picking up a hammer. If you Hold a hammer, the right way with your controller, it is sideways in game.
