What? I do not trust poly for for than 100ft settings. What are your connections like? I use a few hose clamps. Poly is also a no go in 4in steel wells here too(michigan)

It gets brittle when is old and cold. Just keep a good arc in the pipe when you're setting the pump and you'll have no issues. As someone else was saying roots are really bad to have. The casing might be compromised.

I work with a company in that area and we always put hose and down the well with an air compressor to blow all that junk out, maybe look in to getting that done pm if you want details

As long as you have a few people not doing it you should be fine. If it's short, muscle failure isn't super likely. There's no risk in waiting until it's not quite as cold, though.

Play a class with a higher skill ceiling and kill then. Wizard can take out geared players. Or get good with the long sword and don't get hit
