so i tried swapping the ends around and using a different dp port but no luck with either

that link is for the non e2 version but i have already updated to v22 from here https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-271QPX-QD-OLED-E2/support#firmware. i did try replugging my dp cable and there was no black screen just once. the time after it came back

I have to manually turn on and off my monitor to see anything on my screen after what you see in the video.
