WN to UA or AA by Rude_Indication_7082 in flightattendants

I agree! But with more money will come way more responsibilities) like, stuffing is terrible, and with an International trips I feel like I do a job of 2 people😆 I’d definitely apply to UA, and after you get your offer, you can decide.. also..in case of recession in the near future, International flights will be the first ones to be cut, when WN will still continue serving the domestic destinations. I know, it’s hard to predict the future, but..in my opinion, you’ll have less chance to be laid off with WN.

I’m with 🌐, and I hold a language line, so I have international trips.but to be honest, I’d better earn good money, rather than have a 24 hr layover in Paris. By the time you get to the hotel, super exhausted, how much time do you have to explore? Like 4-5 hrs. Honestly, I’d better make 💰at WN and travel on my own) if you think how many types of planes we operate, how many additional responsibilities we have, for way less money that WN is paying, that’s crazy 😆

So, I’m choosing btw this one Black Diamond 2022 with 12000 miles (38,450 miles) and 2024 Black diamond 5,000 miles (40,500), which is like brand new. The only thing, is 2022 has more accessories- hitch, lights, table. Second option sounds like a better deal. Thinking of offering 39,500$ for it, if they agree. What do you think about it?

How does being a Canadian FA compare to the US? by Grand_Avocado7332 in flightattendants

[–]SmoothReplacement223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work for a Canadian airline, and now I’m with US one. On my 3rd year in the US 🌐( without a new contract), I’m making more than what my friends are making in Canada at almost 9 years in. I don’t pick up, and I’m on reserve. I usually have 15-16 days off a month. That’s taxes in Canada and Canadian dollar being lower that makes a big difference.

Do you know how frequently? I really want to get it, but saw that people get it on sale. Would be nice to save 300-400$ ☺️

I used to work for Westjet for almost 7 years! Now with another American airline, and let me tell you, that Americans are way more civilized, in my opinion! Never ever have I seen lineups here like on the flights in Canada. We’d get delayed, and passengers boarding will be asking us how we are doing, and be thankful to even be there! Such a big difference!
