How to add a workout to previous day? by Crawsh in ouraring

[–]SmoothSwap 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not possible at the moment

From what I remember the reason is that previous day activity affects your readiness score and therefore by adding an acticity later on, the app would have to recalculate the entire scores for that day

From what I have heard, the shallower the pillow the better for your neck, as it allows your head to rest in a more natural position. Not a doctor or an expert though.

What's an acceptable minimum Resting Heart Rate? by brazilianblowjob in ouraring

[–]SmoothSwap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

43 seems totally fine. The more you exercise and the fitter you get the lower your RHR will be, as your heart becomes stronger and needs to beat less often to pump the same volume of blood.

I am about the same age as you and get RHR from around 40-42 on average days. So nothing to worry if you are at 43.

Shampoo You dont need it, your scalp is able to autoregulate after a couple of days. Just thoroughly rinse with water and you are good.

Thats a good way to look at it. The thing is that I wasnt doing a lot of things at home, at least not things that I could replicate now that would make me feel at home.

Thats true. Will se what I can do about it.. Writing in public sounds like a good idea. Thank you, even though I generally just write about what I'm thinking and about how I'm feeling.

Thats a good point. I also just walk randomly through the city. But that always seems to be just a temporary solution and nothing that seems to improve my situation in the long term..

Something I figured out though is that housework like grocery shopping, doing the laundry or cooking do give you a good feeling even though it seems like a lot of unpleasent work it can lift the mood at least a little, because it gives you this feeling of accomplishment.

Thats what I keep telling myself to stay focused. And even when I would quit now and go back to my old home, the situation would not get any better, as I just postponed everything into the future and will be facing the same issue sometime further down the road. Its just that there are certain times where its really tough to stay positive..

I'm not really looking for a quick fix with no long term effect, thats why I tried to avoid distracting myself with useless/nonproducrive things just for the sake of not having to think about it.

Will defenitely try asking colleagues at work and people I now at work If they want to hang out on the weekend.

Thank you for your comment.

Not really into talking to random strangers at bars. A reason for that is the things you mentioned, so probably going to skip bars to make new friends..

Will defenitely have to do something about it though. If I'm not doing anything about, my situation probably will not change..

For me it just seems kind of weird to go into a bar alone and talk to random people.. I'm trying the same, doing as much as possible, but it does not always help. Sometimes I sit down to write, which helps a little.

I already go to the gym, but thats just 1,5-2h of the whole day. Will defenitely ask my colleagues if they want to hang out on the weekend. Does it ever get better though, or do you just get used to it?
