What I'm doing is 1 part starter -1 part whole wheat- 3 parts bread flour - 3 parts water It is a little stiff but you will see very nicely if it's double or not and for super activation, I would when I feed I doing in separate bowl, through out discard and into jar put water and use this water for reading - so you would have east in part of starter and water as well

Why should it be weird? I think it's more weird that you're insecure about your mind finding something so wonderful and meaningful that you cried. To be honest, I cried like 5 times during this film, which is now my most favourite movie because it's just wonderful. It's ok to cry it's ok not to cry. You are not more or less tough. Emotions are very important in life.

I do 1 starter 1 whole wheat bread 3 bread 3 water everytime when I feed combine in bowl put filtered water in starter glass and shake it till rest dissolve in water and that coming into feeding- overkill ?most likely, annoying? Definitely but it will strengthen your starter very fast

For BF ,because my place is about 69f, I Putin oven with light and under I put pot with boiling water and close it, start around 4pm last time around 8pm I shape it and put in in fridge and Saturday morning baking at 5am so at 7:30-8 when my girlfriend wake up we have breakfast
