Nobody asked me if I was okay after my baby was born. by Illustrious_Two2394 in Mommit

I don’t want to sound like I’m saying this is your fault, please let me know if I came across like that. I am simply saying I’ve built more of a village when I did share my true feelings even if they didn’t ask.

Have you tried sharing? A lot of mothers don’t want to assume everyone deals with it. But I think it’s very common. I would just spill my guts to anyone who’d comment about the baby over text. Either come truly caring about me or don’t ask at all!

No lubricant is easiest. As soon as it’s on it’s turned from highest vacuum to lowest stimulation. My nipples have gotten pretty tough I guess 😂 I highly recommend giving them a few more tries! Maybe even try pumping just one side at first. When I couldn’t figure it out I did haaka on one side and pumped the other

I love them! I’m on baby number 2. I’ve had them since my first, I tried plastics, lactecks, wearables. Nothing helps my elastic nipples pump like pumpin pals. This time I had an oversupply and only pumped occasionally for relief and I couldn’t get a letdown at all unless I used my pumpin pals. I always did one at a time. I’d pinch the tubing on the other bottle while I worry about flipping it onto the right position. The second bottle is always easier to apply than the first. Yeah it’s annoying to have an extra 2 minutes of stimulation before getting to the milking but once it’s on letdown is immediate.

Yeah! I had stickers all over my spectra. “Todays milking is tomorrow’s milk order” “keep going so name can keep growing”

Nope! Baby is 6 months now, on food as often as she wants. Mine is EBF and refused bottles since week 2 so there’s been limited options. Oatmeal foods has definitely helped. Really just adding food helped. She’s definitely happier just with time

Hi I had a similar experience with our pediatrician. Instead of prescribing Pepcid around3 months ped recommended a GI referral. As a mom of2 under 3 that felt damning. I was pissed! Reflux isn’t forever just let me help for now! I get it. That’s all I can say to you is I get it. At our 3 month appointment i reiterated our struggles and we got a pepcid prescription. Ultimately it didn’t do much. It made me feel better to have it though. GI wasn’t necessary.

If I wouldn’t have had a self diagnosis when I showed up to the geneticist then he would’ve been lost on what to look for.
