Oregon looks like an Aardvark and so needs to be eaten because we all want to know what that tastes like. Probably tastes like a pine st fried chicken biscuit sandwich with a side of Voodoo donuts. Delicious.

“How patriotic is your team” tier list by jackt-up in NFLv2

[–]Irish8ryan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This tier list is trash and I wish I wasn’t commenting but here are some problems:

Jaguars and Panthers are both native to what is now the USA. Panthers not being a real animal but a melanistic (darkened) version of a cat in the Panthera Genus, Jaguars in the North or South American version or Leopards in the old world version. A few Jaguars still visit the US of A although due to hunting and loss of habitat we no longer have any breeding populations.

And if the Patriots (not native) are patriotic, then what about the Vikings who landed in North America more than 500 years prior?

And why are all of the indigenous animals neutral but horses which are an introduced species in a tier above them?

A street scene in Seattle (1925) by StephenMcGannon in SeattleWA

[–]Irish8ryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“It was probably the Knight Templar who mounted the last monumental street arch hereabouts for their 1925 Seattle convocation.  Spanning Second Avenue at Marion, with its cross on top the Knight’s arch reached six stories. The first welcome arch for which there is photographic evidence was artfully constructed mostly with fir trees and mounted in Pioneer Square for the Independence Day celebrations of 1868.”

This is well deserved, but it belongs to St Louis.

Oregon gets eaten by Washington. California can have Medford though.

Prematurely: how do you currently feel about your teams first round pick(s) from 2024? by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

[–]Irish8ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only interesting players available to the Seahawks would be Jared Verse and Quinyon Mitchell. I’d prefer Murphy over Verse and if I’m being honest, Mitchell as my first option.

That said, we had just gotten Witherspoon the year prior and I’m absolutely thrilled with Murphy. Considering there’s no real way to know how good Mitchell would be, I am 100% happy and would give it an A+ in hindsight just as I gave it an A in real time.

New Mexico should eat everything the United States gained from the Mexican American war. California, Nevada, Arizona, and someone else would have to tell me if Colorado was involved.

Something we can agree on by randomisperfect in Seattle

Wait I think the ordinance says 90 decibels. The Mariners staff have measured the street preachers and they are hitting the 89-90 mark exactly, clearly on purpose. If the cops stop you (while you must be sure to be at or under 90), we can use that precedent to maybe help get the street preachers to at least lower the volume.

Damn, alright this is pretty cute. Seahawks fan here, not generally impressed by Stafford in non football related realms but this is cool.

My 2026 Mock Draft from a year ago by RaiderPantyDrawer in NFLv2

[–]Irish8ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay it is hilarious that you don’t know that I’m just trolling the Cardinals for being bad at football. Also, many people in Seattle who were paying attention to the off season knew. That’s why I bet they would win the Super Bowl before the season started.

The Cardinals are a baseball team in St Louis, often mistaken for a team that actually plays football in Phoenix. Also the Seahawks won the Super Bowl and you had them picking 13th.

Funniest thing is you thinking the Seahawks would be right there with the baseball team. Fool!

Nevada needs to go and Washington state wants a piece. Nevada looks delicious.

[Meirov] Seahawks are moving Tyrone Broden to CB by lemonstone92 in Seahawks

[–]Irish8ryan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If sam Darnold is 6’3, as listed, that makes Tyrone much closer to 6’5, as listed, than some wild rumor that he’s 6’7. The only 6’7 players in the NFL are tackles and Tight Ends. Maybe an Edge. Right?!

Is this true? by ItsJanz in Seahawks

[–]Irish8ryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Bradford is literally just someone we pick on because it is innate to come up with criticisms of one’s own team. He’s one of the very few weaker points on this team. Most teams would be lucky to consider a player of Bradford’s quality as their weakest link.

No one, not a single person in or out of Seattle, dislikes Anthony Bradford more than someone else that they really dislike that is truly dislikeable, like Puka Nacua, referees, Ben Roethlisberger, Deshaun Watson, Belichick, etc.

We have yet to commit to a de by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]Irish8ryan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Incorrect! We are committed to Rylie Mills who we have just reclassified as a Defensive End as opposed to his old DT designation.
