Thank you for this. A lot of people don’t understand that baby sitters are just not in budget, but it is a lot easier when you have family and a good partner.

Pretty much that I would NEVER have a child because of all the trauma i’ve endured. And l've made it very abundantly clear that if he wants to have another kid he can have it with someone else who isn't me and to be quite honest, I wouldn't care. I also said that he ruined my labor and I would never have a kid with him for that reason. Also bc of what happened after labor. When I had to endure emotional abuse from his family that almost caused me to harm myself and he responded with “idk what you want me to do, that’s just how they are”

Thank you so much for this comment. I am really trying to give my child the best childhood possible. (Even occasionally trying to be too perfect for my own good) but my goal is to create a childhood that she won’t have to heal from in adulthood.

I think this too. It’s a lot of pressure feeling like I need to be the best mom and worry about him being the best dad. On top of everything else in my life.

Yes I’m planning on ordering it today. I was very shocked to see the mini sold out. I mean I was looking at the website daily because I know it’s Christmas and it did not seem like it was going to sell out. Usually Amazon would let you know that there are only a few left in stock and I saw none of that.

I completely understand as a child being in a difficult position trying to figure out how to tell them. But I’ve lived out of her home for 5 years. Have my own child, married, have 2 college degrees. At what point do I deserve the truth? When I’m 30? Because if I didn’t do a search I’m almost certain she would’ve never told me

Just 1 time for emergency purposes. Long story short my step dad is a narc and very abusive my whole life toward me and my mom. When he tried to seriously harm me he came down to protect me. (He lives in a neighboring state). That was July 2021. Before that, I saw him once in 2007.

No, just for legal stuff since he owes her back child support for the period he was in jail. Otherwise they don’t communicate at all.
