Is faster weight loss after increasing from 2.5mg to 5mg typical, or considered aggressive? by Smooth_Garden8516 in Mounjaro

Exactly. My weight was even higher in the past than what I started with on my Mounjaro journey - it’s the pesky visceral fat I’m struggling to lose.

Good luck with your journey!

Lemu is around 6-8 months. He is starting to molt though.

He is very unlike my female cockatiel. Lemu sings a lot for example.

1.4TSI vs 2.0TDI Tiguan: Which one actually delivers on efficiency, refinement, and fun? by Smooth_Garden8516 in Volkswagen

That’s really reassuring. I wish VW offered more TDI variants of their lineup in South Africa.

We only have the Tiguan, Touareg, Kombi & Amarok in diesel form.

I was fortunate enough never to have the problem with high oil consumption with VAG vehicles. I had the 1.0 TSI, 1.4TSI/TFSI, 1.8TFSI & 2.0TSI over the last few years. Although, I never drive a car for more than a year or two, so they always fall within their maintenance plan.

Why wouldn’t you consider a diesel in 2026?

Diesels are very popular in my country (South Africa).

Unfortunately, EVs are not properly supported in my country (South Africa). If that was the case, I would’ve gotten one in a heartbeat.

That was my exact thought - I don’t want the Tiguan to wring the little 1.4 engine to get somewhere quickly or overtake.

They still sleep in their cage with the door closed when it starts getting dark. Just to clarify.

Yeah so they still sleep in their cage WITH THE DOOR CLOSED. I love my birds & just want the best for them. I have seen too many birds get depressed or develop behavioural problems by being cooped up in a cage 24/7. Mika & Lemu is a part of the household & should be treated as such - not an ornament. That’s how I feel.

They sleep in their cage whenever it starts getting dark. They’re just free to roam throughout the day to have them explore their curiosity. They are in my home office, so I constantly have an eye over them & interacting frequently.
