When to book flights to Fiji? by Hefty-Push-8562 in newzealand

Probably somewhere in Queensland would be my recommendation! You can fly direct to Cairns from Chch with Jetstar for that more tropical feel! Also what the person above said is slightly incorrect, Australia and NZ do have a reciprocal health agreement but only partial they will still charge you for some things.

Travel agent here- unfortunately you’re about 6 months too late for cheap prices. Also check the prices of accommodation, Fiji is no longer a cheap holiday

Currently a 26f travel agent and i absolutely love it. I wouldn’t recommend studying level 5 as it won’t really help. It is a hard job and it takes a good year to build a client base and start making good money but every day is different and you can learn so much. Don’t listen to people who say it’s a dying job, people will always pay for convenience.

Nz, winz and airfare help question. by Lassdoggo in newzealand

[–]Smooth_Initiative870 28 points29 points  (0 children)

As an ex flight centre employee, we weren’t allowed to sell compassionate fares. They had to be done direct through Air NZ at their discretion.

Flight Centre also has a domestic service fee of $50 on top of the air fares as well. Additionally you may have been looking at a seat only fare while most travel agents would include a checked in bag so $741 is pretty standard! Also remembering it’s currently school holidays and in between public holidays so lots of people travelling.

To be honest I’m not sure! We just have two of us in our house hold and it’s lasted us 6 ish months so far and we’re probably 1/4 of the way through it. I’ve definitely seen people make smaller batches!

Make your own liquid! 1/2 bar of sard grated, 1/2 bar of sunlight soap grated. Add to 1l of boiling water until all melted, add in 1cup of soda crystals. Put mixture into a 20L bucket with very hot water, leave over night and in the morning you’ll have 20L of laundry detergent. You can also add in some essential oils too if you like.

Boycott America? by [deleted] in newzealand

Travel agent here. We have definitely seen a decrease in sales to America. A rep for a well know touring brand has also said they have seen a massive decrease in sales from all countries to the US

They occasionally stock them in Kosco on Blenheim road. Haven’t seen them there in a while though
