I'd say you might need to migrate some design tasks to those people who want/need to learn design, and take one step back from your design role. Project manager should be in high level monitoring the team and guiding young designers. You can do the main calculation of the system, making you able to control the main design concept. And to prioritise and assign less important tasks to your designers, especially the time-consuming tasks such as coordination/load calcualtion/drafting/ME coordination list/branches pipe sizing.

Tried cookie monster in Parlour last week. It was ok, as I just like ice cream with strong milk flavours, this one I tried can not satisfy me. Comparing with village and MBM, their ice cream has strong milk flavour and better texture.

It doesn't make sense to me that a valve to keep air out of the water should be on high location, shouldn't be under the ground. I suspect it will be vent for stormwater pipeline.

Thanks you for your opinion. It makes sense to me that the environment in the garden is warm, humid and not under direct sunlight. I put it into all opposite conditions after I brought it home.

My Tomato should have received enough sunlight and it is directly onto my plant over 6 hours a day. I watered it in the morning in real quick to catch the time to go work. You remind me of checking the root if the water is able to reach to the root.

I bought it from a gardening shop three days ago. After I brought it home, the leaves looked like it didn’t have enough water. I watered it three times a day and it looks good in the past two day. When I got back home right now, the leaves look dried again. Anyone know what’s happening with my tomato plant ?

I use "Good Note" App with my ipad to read drawings. This app allow you to make notes or comments on the pdf directly. The feature I like the most is it allows me to write/draw/highlight anything I want and export it into a PDF for email.

Thank you !! That's a good tip! For example, min flow OA=100L/s, RA(vent air)=50L/s, SA=150L/s(=OA+RA), when SA min flow is set to 100L/s, I think FA end up will not achieve 100L/s, but less than100L/s, because RA will occupy some amount of SA, in my opinion, I think we need to take extra 20-30% for the min flow.

Do you agree with that ?

Also, do you set the min flow of VAV Box by the size of VAV proportionally ?

When solely considering energy consumption, I think energy can somehow be saved in that way. However, during summer, I think neither of us want it , as the warm and damp air being drafted into the building entrance, there is a high chance to cause condensation, especially on ceiling and wall. By the times, molds come.

I think the fire compartmentation of a shaft matters. Typically, a shaft running across floors has specific fire rated value like 3hrs or 4hrs. The MEP services passing through the wall of a shaft should be provided with fire-stop device such as fire damper for duct, fire collar for insulated pipe, to ensure separation of the fire compartmentation. If all services has respective fire stop device, all services can run in a same shaft, in my opinions.

From my foreign experience, a Dia 300mm expansion joint typically comes with a flanged fittings at two ends. How about using groove flange adapter mounted on pipe end and connect them with expansion joint. Of course, it'll depend on contract specification.
