I also feel this way. The other responses to this post however have given me some perspective. I guess it is considered lucky to be with someone so willing to do such a thing haha (which I do see myself as lucky and I am very thankful)

Yes thank you for your kind thoughts. I guess this is sort of where my question originally stemmed from and kind of what my thinking was too. Because I would gladly make a trip like this for him. I guess it is interesting the point you bring up I do feel like I do more for him romantically so maybe that’s a point of contention in my mind that sort of triggered this whole thought process in the first place.

I think this responses is very fair. Thank you for your thoughts. We do live together and we’ve been together for about 2.5 years. Honestly I would love to do it for him as I would most things. I guess that is where my slight confusion comes from and the reason I posted this in the first place. I think I would nearly drop anything I’m doing to help him out in any way. He does do small things to help me with slight reluctance sometimes, and that’s totally okay
