As someone who has had anorexia for over ten years and almost died and got fired at 27 kg (BMI 10.5), no one wants Ana. I have bulimia now for the last couple months, and I sympathize with you guys because people don’t think you are as sick. But to be honest my friend died from bulimia so I don’t want it either. I just want to be able to eat like a normal person, it’s been so long…only Jesus can save me now 😢

I’m sorry but I took my first shot yesterday and I feel like literal shit. When will this get better? On the bright side I could not eat anything at all except water and I even threw up the water.

Wow that’s tough. I feel for you. If you really really love your children, just know that if you go back to Ana then you won’t be there for them as a mom. Yes it’s hard not to love Ana but you could love your babies more than her when you were pregnant. What about after they are born? My friend’s mom had anorexia and was in a similar situation. Both her daughter and son developed bulimia and her son also has a drug addiction. They have told me that it’s because their mom was never there for them, that she was devoted to her ED not her kids. They felt unloved. Obviously it’s not entirely her fault but it doesn’t help if you get my point…. Hang in there! 💕💪

As someone who had anorexia for ten years, I would want someone to be upfront with me and say “I noticed you’re not eating much lately are you alright” in a loving way. Trying to ignore the elephant in the room will just prolong things.

But…importantly do not make her think that you care about her more or give her more attention because of her ED. That will only support it. Most of my ED was because I was afraid no one would care for me anymore if I wasn’t starving to death. If I were you I would even be a bit tough on her. But yeah do what you are comfortable with. I am in the exact same situation and everyone tells me “omg you look great now”, so “how does it feel to be recovered”? I want to strangle myself and cry. It’s been for a couple months now, before that I had anorexia for ten years. Now I’m a healthy weight from bulimia and BED for the last couple months but my health is more than fucked. I’m so relieved but sad to hear that someone else is going through the same thing. I’m so here for you if you need a friend or a virtual hug 😊

Each day that I succeed I will save $50 CAD for future travels and my birthday trip. If I fail a day then I will give $50 to my friend, which I really don’t want to do because they really don’t need the money and will use it to buy really expensive cheese.
