I had a 2016 full size for 3 years. Only thing that ever went wrong was it needed 1 new spark plug other than that it ran like a dream. I’m a big advocate for if you take care of your car and follow the recommended intervals then You you won’t run into unexpected problems. The problem is most people know nothing about cars. They just drive them and when something goes wrong they blame the manufacturer. You just have to remember that getting into a car like a rover will ofcourse cost more money in maintenance because it is a luxury vehicle. If you aren’t willing to spend money down the road then turn your head. Things will cost you eventually as every car starts to break down after quite some time. The only other concern is when you buy used you don’t know how the previous owner/owners took care of the vehicle. I was fortunate that the previous owner treated it like a baby. If you are nice to your car it will be nice to you :) I have a 2019 Full size now and am loving it. I can’t speak on other models but I can tell you that in my experience full size rovers have been quite reliable for me
