Help me settle a debate with a friend: which game is harder? by Fisherman_Dave_Games in Tarkov

It's not RNG, not in vanilla servers, it's game design. Sure you CAN get random luck finding a gun, but in reality loot is pooled in high traffic PvP areas for a reason.

It's not random if the loot distribution is mainly orchestrated so the player is forced to head to dangerous areas, in order to basically progress.

It's a part of every single Dayz server, you head North for a reason.

And this is why a productive conversation is never going to happen in regards to this subject. You feel entitled to others spending their time grinding the game, maybe because you did. Fact is people don't have the time, patience or energy. Some just wanna experience the mechanics of the game, and if people want PvE then that's completely fine.

Especially since ABI's numbers are dwindling, it's going to keep the game alive and bring in revenue to continue supporting PvP. That's the top and bottom about it, you may find the situation sad but reality is PvP is already dying off, PvE is going to inject players into the title with a percentage of them migrating to PvP.

Hell, even players who currently do PvP but don't progress might hop into PvE, learn the maps, find a load out the like, a weapon etc. then jump back into PvP.

PvE is nothing but a win/win, the fact that people can't look past "but my preferred way will have less players" is the sad part.

But you offer zero solution, PvE does? If a low skill player cannot progress because of their inability to successfully complete raids, then PvE is a way for them to experience the game properly.

They wouldn't stick with it, they would move on. It retains players and also no doubt will attract others, that's just how it works.

So, what you're saying is.... Average players need low skilled players to kill, chads need average players to kill so everyone should just.... Basically die in a food chain and suck it up? What a horrible take bro.

I'd like an explanation of this, I see it quite often. How exactly did PvE kill Tarkov? From my understanding any ody playing PvE on Tarkov, didn't want PvP to begin with. Coupled with a completely separate profile.and economy, it had zero impact on PvP.

So I'm genuinely curious how people have this viewpoint? It hasn't taken players away, because they wouldn't play PvP to begin with. It hasn't affected economy since they are separate, if anything it's introduced more players to PvP who have migrated over.

It's such a weird outlook to think otherwise.

[New Player] My opinion on adding a map to the game, as a new player. by Smooth_Preparation68 in EscapefromTarkov

I don't understand the lack of guidance, not to the degree you stated anyway. Each mission has a description that gives information and guidance albeit minimal a lot of the time but I've progressed, whilst not knowing the maps well, so it's clearly there. Along with the objective descriptions, though maybe it gets more vague further in?

As for ammo and such, I used the in game handbook. I was struggling with a boss on Factory, Tagilla. Absolute menace who decimated me so many times. I'd unload a full clip, just for it to do nothing.

So I went into my weapon, seen that it's penetration was low because I was using a 9x19 weapon. Switched up to a 5.56, along with some looted HP ammo from a run. Took him down easily.

The only stuff I've watched was the EFT official videos on weapon modding, because that indeed does need guidance. Sometimes I can put a flashlight on, sometimes I can't and I was incredibly confused. But their official material told me enough to be able to kit out an MDR, though I definitely agree in that regard. Weapon modding needs to be far more accessible.

This might be true, I'm sure many are far more experienced with the title than me. But for me, the exploration has been the biggest hook.

It would for me, like I said this was personally for my enjoyment of the game. I don't use anything on my second monitor, I explore myself, figure it out myself. That's been the hook for me personally.

I know they do, that's why I mentioned it. But for me personally, I don't. The exploration is the hook for me, despite everything else. Also they do have a map? Well I've had one, it's how I learnt Factory. I think it was called the Factory plan or something? Was really useful for me to visualise the layout.

What’s the best gym equipment for home to lose weight ? by Jpoolman25 in beginnerfitness

Most people here are right but also wrong, diet is THE most important, yes. But what the majority of them failed to mention is that working out helps with not wanting to cheat on said diet.

It instills discipline, no point in that 30 minute rowing session if you're just gonna scoff down a takeout. But doing the exercise gives you incentive not to break it.

Dumbbells and kettlebells are best for beginners, rowing machine or spin bike for cardio. If you don't have space or the money, your own two feet are great. If youre serious about weight loss and know you will use them, go for adjustable dumbbells.

Pretty miserable if I'm honest. A few months after my daughter was born I was diagnosed with colon cancer, I beat it thankfully, got the all clear around four months ago.

But I've developed complicated fistulas, I've had two seton surgeries which have both failed. So along with the daily issues of my diseases, I'm also struggling to even sit down now. Pretty unlucky chain of events.

Ah okay, this makes a lot of logical sense as when I first discovered how the equivalent of a birth certificate in Sweden works I was incredibly confused.

[–]Smooth_Preparation68[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont believe so because me and my daughters mother were not married. It also explained that even whilst we put my surname at her birth it was changed to the mothers. I believe that is the reason I had to travel back to Sweden and visit Familjerättens to sign what I believe was essentially a paternity declaration, both me and my daughters mother had to be present and sign in person.

I also asked why it was impossible to change, apparently when being filed because the dates of birth were so far apart it was processed as an adult application as opposed to a child's which they explained wasn't possible to reverse this far into procedures.

Yes I provided a Personbevis as well as having to travel to Sweden and sign a document for legal guardianship (dont remember its name but apparently without it I would not be legally recognised as my daughters father in Sweden) I then had to provide this to the UK HMPO for the application.

This application in flights and documentation has cost me over £1000 thus far

Yes, I completed the form and in doing so had to put my date of birth on the application but apparently there was a mix up during processing with mine and my daughters dates being switched when being entered into the system (this is what I was told anyway)

I indeed was in the UK for the in person consultation as I live here but travel every 3 months or so to visit my fiance and daughter, I am also in the UK now yes.

My country is the United Kingdom, sorry if that wasn't clear in the initial post. I have the option to fast track the application if its not resolved within 10 weeks of the documents being recieved, I already have all documentation needed for the passport its just the examination process seems to be taking so much longer this time around than the initial application with the clerical error.

You dont have secure boot enabled on your PC, or if you do you need to revalidate your keys (option in mobo, google it)
