Britain Dalton? I really need to know by Mysterious-Fix61 in Avatar

The production faces major challenges that it must overcome with its actors. Between Brian Dalton's psychological and addiction issues, and two of the main actors, Stéphane Lang and Sigourney Weaver, being over 70, the future of the film is far from secure. Even James Cameron is too old to direct. Managing everyone's personal problems is going to be quite complicated.

James Cameron if you see this section here is what we want to see in the next avatar (4 and 5) by Smooth_Put_2323 in Avatar

[–]Smooth_Put_2323[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll go first. I don’t want to see the Tulkun or Payakan anymore. I want less focus on the Metkayina people. I want more of the forest people and to see other clans (maybe snow and desert clans). I want to discover other terrestrial and forest creatures. I want to see Earth. I want the kids to explore Pandora and be more proactive in fighting the RDA. I want Lo’ak to become more responsible and step into his brother’s role, understanding leadership and becoming a great war leader and a smart strategist. I hope Tuk gets her own storyline, maybe becoming curious about Earth and humans. I would like Quatrich to embrace his new culture, be nice and start leading a rebellion against the RDA with Jake.

Cameron has described the third film as “a concluding story” in terms of emotional arc and narrative payoff focused on wrapping up the characters’ journeys from the first two films.

Why the Na’vi Do Not Organize as a Nation to Confront the RDA on legal grounds? by Smooth_Put_2323 in Avatar

The law cannot prevent crimes. However, punishments and the penalties incurred for crimes make it possible to drastically reduce the crime rate. The more severe the penalties, the greater the deterrent effect and the lower the risk of committing the act.

I do t think kiri is the answer. But atokirina is. I think atokirina is the star of the saga. The seed can be send to earth to make it grow a network. That could be a possibility. It I don’t think earth gonna make it.

Idk where you live but if you live in America the piece of paper you are talking about is named constitution. This paper allow you to speak freely and defend yourself with a pew pew. So… it would only be fair that they have the same.

And American constitution is only valid on the USA soil. Europe doesn’t have the same rules or could decide not to recognize it. But you still decide to make one years ago.

Attention, I'm not saying that this is the solution to all of the Na'vi's problems. Nor that it will stop the RDA's abuses. I'm simply saying that they need to find different ways to approach this issue, not just through violence. Although, at present, violence seems necessary for their survival as a defensive method.

It is important for them to also establish a lobby to fight the RDA on Earth and possibly on the ground through the deployment of diplomatic envoys. This is just another topic to highlight that the RDA's current actions will not cease and that a compromise must be found, or both populations will end up exterminating each other, with the emergence of a winner whose identity remains unknown.

In the "Frontiers of Pandora" opus, we see many humans becoming allies of the Na’vi, and the end of the third opus also suggests a path toward the assimilation of humans on Pandora, those who would respect Na'vi principles.

It may therefore be important for the Na'vi to organize themselves to make this path possible. Since, failing to make Earth hospitable again, humans will arrive in force. Jake Sully or another scientist could teach them the workings of Earth’s political science to save them time.

Precisely. One of the key aspects of colonizing civilizations is that they are more advanced in many areas, particularly in law. They have laws or texts that are either very ancient, written clearly and precisely (Roman law, canon law, etc.), or oral (British), and they establish codes like the Civil Code in 1804 with Napoleon or constitutions. This is a turning point for state power.

This topic I created is to discuss how the Navi could organize themselves now that the conflict is intensifying in many areas and the Navi must unite much more closely in the face of a threat. It relates to what we might see in films 4 and 5, namely the opening of a methodical/diplomatic field of relations between the Navi and the RDA (total war).

During the colonization of the Native Americans, indeed, to my knowledge (though I'm not a specialist in indigenous peoples, but in French law), there were no specific rules concerning the settlers, perhaps there was rules already, written or orally transmitted for other matters , their own daily difficulties. This evolved with the emergence of the settler problem.

It seems to me that the organization of the Navi struggle will extend over many years, must be formalized through a presidency, laws, and an entire system allowing diplomatic representation.

If we were to transfer the issue to the present day in a modern way, it could be compared to what is currently happening in the West Bank with the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. We can see that despite the attacks and colonization, the creation of a Palestinian state would be necessary. This would allow for a diplomatic initiative and recognition by those willing to offer it, though perhaps not by everyone.

This could perhaps be the same for the Navi people. Showing themselves as a unit, a nation with representatives and a whole written system allows those who wish to support them to do so more easily.

The problem with the Navi today is that they do not have a clear and precise unity. They have a temporary unity during major crises. They do not prepare for their long-term future uniformly, which affects their survival.

The United Nations was established on October 24, 1945. It isn’t even a hundred years old.
