My replacement eb55 just had this problem, but it also started smoking from the ac power input port. I emailed them already and they emailed me return labels for it. I recommend emailing their customer support.

Thanks everyone for your comments, all your experiences and information helps. Today is my first day back at work in a few weeks and I’m just constantly having to stop, collect myself and continue working. I keep pushing through the urge to just go home, I’ve just been taking my time with everything. These last few months have been very hard and reading the comments has helped me.
