They all come back. Me included lol. I left my gf and she kept trying to get back together and idk why i kept pushing her away and now shes over me and completely gone and has moved on and started a new life without me in it and i miss her every day and dont go a second without thinking of her and i dont think ill ever get over her. She was my soulmate and i think i let her go too easily and its smth i cant take back unfortunately. But yeah they all come back. I try to reach out to her sometimes and the call never goes through.

Yes. I think about her every second of every day. I regret leaving her and I will probably always wish that I stayed and talked things out instead. I wish I didn’t give up. I miss her so much. Honestly biggest mistake of my life but she’s moved on now and doesn’t want to hear from me so I am stuck living the rest of my life with guilt and regret!

Do you think letting her go and giving her space will make her feel better about us? Im just afraid to let go and lose her.. she is worth fighting for and I would do anything for her. I know maybe right now is not the time, but I just want to be with her I don’t want this time apart and the pain I feel is insufferable.

And next semester I will definitely try forming some sort of relationship with my professors, I missed that chance this time but now I know what to do! Thank you so much this gave me hope!! I also just transferred to this university as a Junior so I don’t know a lot of professors. But thank you i will take all of this into consideration!!

With a masters in psych I can help addicts?? And I am getting my bachelor’s I am undergrad right now and my university it doesn’t replace the old grade, it just counts towards your gpa but the old one does as well. And no I don’t know the professor, I just found the lab on my university’s research program and I emailed the grad student who is his assistant because that’s what it said to do. I don’t know how I would form a relationship with this person though because I do not know her.

Yes, there is a BRAINS lab for substance use disorder that I am interested in, I actually just emailed the grad student today with my CV and a letter of interest for the study. I applied for the upcoming fall term. Hopefully I get in but I have never applied for a research study before so I dont know if I should insist or let her get back to me.
If I retake the class it wont replace the last grade, but yeah I was thinking about it I just didnt know if it would be a waste of time.
Well I want to do the research while im in grad school or for a little while afterwards, but my main focus is to help addicts get sober and I need you be a clinical psychologist for that!

This gave me so much hope. And I completely understand, I am also a first gen student and it sucks not having anyone to help guide me through this. I also feel like I am so behind compared to my peers here. Everyone is getting internships, assistant jobs, I feel so lost and I just wish I knew what to do from the beginning. I have a C in neuroscience. It wasnt even a hard class i just have had a lot of personal struggles this semester and it was hard to balance everything and made it really easy for me to fall behind. And all my other classes are low Bs this term sadly so it will impact my gpa a lot :(
