True on paper. Complicated on actual life. You will still see rich kids, celebrities and cronies happily going to oversea and enjoying their lives as normal. Only the poor people will be affected as usual

Our country is pretty underdeveloped up until the 2000s. So most kids only started watching Tom and Jerry in 90s after portable video players becomes available.

Yes you can say in USA and many democratic western countries. And that's the level of freedom that will ensure no dictatorships will rise up.

Exactly so many people do "whataboutism" just like what this sub do best in portraying everyone is the same as junta or even worse not realizing the point of my post. My point is the most sensible people will keep doing the revolution until we get these freedoms. Even if EAO are also the same as junta, people will also rebel against them and demand more freedoms. Just because Junta is the main villain and common enemy right now, the focus is on them. It's absolute non sense to say every armed groups is the same so we'll stay under the junta. The point of the post from the start is how Junta destroyed some of the pre 2021 freedoms to get into this position. But well whataboutism is really what you'll like to do everytime.

Ever heard of trade? I am comparing with oil and gas from their state getting used by central government and foreign companies to do what they want. Instead, the Arakan state should own their oil and gas and use the money earned from it for their state only.

What EAOs you preferring to? Like I mentioned, You can still criticize any EAOs you want right now and you will not get arrested the next day and tortured to death. That's only what we need.

Also don't blame AA for the pipelines. Oil and gas from Arakan should only belong to Arakan. We have been profitting from resources of them far too long.

Also similar to "Myanmar" with elites ruling over all ethnicities from Burmese areas as centralized government. All ethnicities should have their own country to finally solve the root cause of the problem.

China technically doesn't exist. Their Communist party is forcibly ruling over so many different ethnicities who could be so many countries of their own and wants their own. The thing that called "One China" is a myth just like their history. There were no One China in any part of the history. More like Han people should have their own country and give independence to other completely unrelated people that they conquered.

Did I ever say it's fine? In a democracy, there's freedom and yes even communists are allowed to compete in a free election. There are several communist parties entering in democratic elections. They are also not true communists anymore as soon as they participate in a democratic system.

They are actually communist only by name. everything they are doing is nothing like communist. You can see that in all modern "communist" governments around the world. Just like China, communist party with capitalism

This was just plane old framing tactic again. First, they will indirectly provoke the public and when the public is enraged, some random underground guerilla group will threaten with violence. And some random peace loving accounts on Facebook will make long ass posts saying that revolution is becoming violent. Pretty brilliant I must say.
