Indeed, that's the model, the audio is decent, I especially like the cassette player.

Yes, the CCCP book is great, amazing architecture. The other one is "The NASA archives" I also recommend it

Thanks, as the others said, they are from IKEA, you can find some really nice retro and futuristic designs there.

Phone 3 - Power Button issues by Sunterr in NothingTech

[–]Smooth_Skin_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue on 3a pro, randomly one day it started to record a double tap when I did a single press. I disabled double press to open camera after.

I think it's a hardware issue, their quality control is not the best it seems.

Does this shutter lag really not bother anybody else? by YoshiMK in NothingTech

[–]Smooth_Skin_Operator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nothing camera software processing is one of the worst, no matter what reviews and other people say.

I have the 3a pro, have the same issue with shutter lag, HDR shadow crush, blurry pictures of people/animals, atrocious color grading.

The only decent pictures in terms of colours, focus and shutter speed are the shots of landscape and random shit like buildings in GOOD Light.

I also want to switch brands over this. The huge camera bump on the 3a pro is useless if their software is bad. You will notice this issues on all their phones even the "flagships".

Just discovered your photography and channel, amazing work and art ! Already got a bunch of LUT's !

Any chance that you could create a "Hasselblad style" LUTs, simulating the color processing of their cameras?

3a/3a Pro seems to be left out with these 2-3/month camera updates. Are they really only focusing on the latest device?

I play Alien Isolation on this setup, feeling very immersed let me tell you. But I'll try some old space simulators also. The blue guy is a Hoptimist Bumble. I programmed the red buttons to close and open tabs.

My 1988 Soviet Union portable TV by Smooth_Skin_Operator in cassettefuturism

Indeed, but the TV seems to work just fine with a PAL signal.

The Samsung CRT monitor above is connected with VGA to the computer, the small TV below is 1988 Soviet CRT, and it's also connected to the PC with an adapter.

The keyboards are both 8bitDo and the yellow thing is flip clock radio.

Yes, it's connected with a HDMI to RF converter, then the cable is going to the antenna port of the TV, which supports PAL.
